Maggot Therapy

I tried very hard to concentrate on Dr. Rebecca's lecture on natural source of medicine. This is what I got-- Maggot Therapy! It is an alternative way to treat diabetes patients instead of undergoing amputation of their decaying legs.

Suppositories


Hei hei, these are the suppositories I had in MPH112 dispensing lab class. Supposed not to be taken home, but who knows why, they are here!!

Those with jelly yellow color are gelatin infant suppositories for rectal administration and the blue one, which is copper sulphate suppository is for research use!

Physiological salt


We're doing saline which is in right range of pH (pH 7.35-7.45) and is suitable to be injected into our intravascular fluid..^^

We cleaned our house today!! That's what we should do for CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!! =p

And our new placemat^^ instead of pieces of card box as substitutes.

Communication between pharmacist and patients are divided into verbal and non-verbal.
Verbal:
We talk and we listen.

Non-verbal:
We have eye-contact to give him or her trust.
We do facial expression, body postures and gestures. We touch too! though English seldom touch*

We keep patients social and family history CONFIDENTIAL.
